How do I order an invitation?
Schedule an appointment or phone consultation. We will discuss your invitation needs, wedding themes and budget. An estimate, invitation overview, and schedule will follow each meeting/phone interview. Once the estimate is approved and the text and deposit are received, Zorie will begin design!

What printing options are available?
Zorie offers letterpress, flat printing, engraving, thermography, lithography, digital printing, foil stamping, laser-cutting, die-cutting, embossing, edge painting, bevel edging, edge tinting, round cornering and many other printing methods.
-
What is letterpress?
Letterpress is one of the oldest forms of printing. The letterpress technique originally employed raised metal type letters from a hot lead. Polymer plates are used to obtain a deep impression into the paper, which creates gorgeous definition to each printed piece. This allows for wonderful texture when you run your fingers over the paper.
-
What is engraving?
Dating back to at least the 1400’s, engraving is still considered the finest printing process available today. Engraving is a printing method that begins with etching the desired design into a copper plate. The etching is created with an acid wash first, then hand-tooled with artistic craftsmanship. The plate is then inked, and wiped, so that the ink remains only in the engraved lines. The print is created by pressing the plate into the paper, leaving a beautifully raised image. Nothing captures fine details like engraving!

How does Zorie’s design process work?
Following the initial consultation to map out your invitation vision, Zorie will send you an estimate along with a detailed timeline and overview. Once you approve the estimate, you will sign a contract with details of your project. At this time, a $500 non-refundable deposit is due for design to begin, which will be applied toward your final balance. Your contract price includes two to three design options emailed to you via PDF. Upon choosing your design, you are given two complimentary editing rounds. Any changes beyond these two complimentary editing rounds will cost $50 each. When the last editing round is approved, we will collect the balance and send the design to print.

Can you match a specific color I have in mind perfectly?
We can easily match any color you want. Send us a swatch (paint chip, fabric sample from your bridesmaid dresses, etc.) and we will match it to the corresponding Pantone ink color.
-
Can you work with my price range?
We are happy to discuss options to help keep your project within your budget. We take pride in the amount of time and effort we put into creating a beautiful design for you. Much of our work is hand illustrated and letterpress printed; custom orders tend to be a high-end product for clients who require quality and a one-of-a-kind design.
Based on the complexity of your design, as well as printing costs, LETTERPRESS designs begin at $2,000 for 100 invitation sets (including invitation, outer envelope, reply card and reply envelope). You will receive our estimate after your official design consultation.
Although most of our wedding invitation designs are LETTERPRESS, we also offer FLAT PRINTING as a more affordable option.
